July 5, 2006 was our 25th Wedding Anniversary! We had a wonderful dinner at Chef Allen’s (www.chefallens.com) in Aventura. We even had a violinist play our wedding song for us (“Through the eyes of love”). Who says I can’t be romantic!
In case you want to know, we started with a grilled scallop appetizer with lentil, followed by a Caesar salad. For entrees Joan had a wood grilled Sirloin steak and I had pan roasted Maine lobster paella. We enjoyed a 1999 Barolo and for dessert we enjoyed champagne while Joan had a gelato and I had a delicious chocolate biscuit with fruit topping. We highly recommend Chef Allen’s!
