Having successfully endured the Great Quarantine of 2020, Mom, Tony and I are headed to Portland, Oregon for a couple of days to experience some of the great grape varietals in the Willhamette Valley is known for: Pinot Noir of course, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and last but not least, Riesling (what!…yes, that’s right, Riesling!). Wineries in the lineup are the Beaux Freres Winery, Shea Wine Cellars, Elk Cove Vineyard, Domaine Serene Winery, Domaine Drouhin Winery, Penner Ash Winery, Ponzi Vineyard, Hawks View Winery, Adelsheim Vineyard, Bethel Heights Vineyard, and Cristom Vineyard (nice job setting this up Mom!). Oh, I hope my liver is up to the task!
