\"\"<\/a>July 2008 – Holy smokes I turned\u00a050 this year!\u00a0 Sounds like a good reason for a party.\u00a0 We had a few friends and family join us for drinks, dance, and dinner on the Windridge K for a sail up and down the intracoastal waterway.\u00a0 What a great time with some great people.\u00a0 It was sensational for folks we have known for so many years to be able to join us to celebrate the beginning of our next 50 years together.\u00a0 A friend gave me the poem below (author unknown), and I pass it on to you all.<\/p>\n

Every name\u2019s a touchstone
\nthat leads to a place and time,
\nWhere God has used another\u2019s heart
\nto reach out and touch mine.
\nIt may have happened years ago
\nor even yesterday,
\nBut every person on my list
\nhas changed my life some way.<\/p>\n

Through simple conversation,
\na warm hug or a shared meal,
\nEvery person on my list
\nhas helped me grow or heal,
\nOr laugh or love or learn or smile,
\nthe blessing never ends,
\nAs God allows our paths to cross
\nas family and friends.<\/p>\n
